Established in 2001, JAB (Jason and Bec) Solutions began as Budget Safes & Locks, operating from a family car with a focus on providing mobile locksmith services across Melbourne and its suburbs. Initially catering to real estate agents and banks, our dedication to exceptional service quickly grew our customer base, transforming the business into JAB Solutions Pty Ltd, a trusted name in the locksmithing industry.
By 2006, we brought on board business manager and salesman Jason Sultana, whose expertise accelerated our growth in Melbourne’s locksmith sector. In 2007, we expanded into electronic access control systems, becoming one of the first in the area to install SALTO systems at Moonee Valley Racing Club and Moonee Valley City Council. This leap into advanced security solutions has made us the leading SALTO agent in Victoria, with a growing team of skilled locksmiths and contractors to meet increasing demand.
Today, JAB Solutions operates two specialized divisions:
- SALTO Access Control Solutions – Trusted by prominent organizations like the World Trade Centre, Catholic Archdiocese, City Councils, and schools, our access control division is at the forefront of wireless locking technology.
- JAB Locksmiths – Servicing residential and commercial clients, we provide expert solutions including master key systems, security systems, safes, and general locksmithing services. Our comprehensive safe display offers options from fire-resistant safes to high-security CMI safes.

Jason Knowles
Founder
Jason Knowles established JAB Locksmiths in 2006 and is very proud of the success and direction of the business.
Jason overlooks the company’s dealings; ensuring OH&S guidelines and daily business is running in a professional manner. Jason co-ordinates the service department and helps out where needed.
Jason Sultana
Business/Operations Manager
Jason Sultana looks after Salto electronics wireless locking system whether its selling, installing or surveying a new site. Jason’s management skills are second to none Jason is a very experienced qualified locksmith and an expert in all things security.
Glenn Broyd
Security Technician
Glenn is a qualified locksmith and a security installer, Glenn’s role is to oversee the work orders and makes sure contractors are performing at their optimum part. He also installs locks, grills, security doors and all security related products.
Rob Radavicius
Technical Locksmith
Rob takes care of the residential locksmith clients as well as the overflow from corporate clients. Rob’s day to day work consists of locksmithing, installing CCTV and Salto electronic access control systems.
Rebecca Knowles
Administration
Rebecca looks after all the office admin including, accounts payable/receivable and bookkeeping. Rebecca also takes the phone calls and logs in jobs for the locksmiths.
